Cancellation Policies

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all parties involved, the following policies will be honored:


A 48-hour advance notice is requested when canceling an appointment.
(Exceptions include illness and inclement weather.)
 
 
For "no call/no show" appointments:
 A credit card will then be required to be on file.  If any subsequent appointments are another no call/no show, a "missed appointment" fee will be charged to the card in the amount of 100% of the session rate.  If any subsequent appointments are cancelled with less than a 48-hour notice, a cancellation fee will be charged to the card in the amount of 50% of the session rate.
 
 
For appointments cancelled with less than 48-hour notice: 
Clients will be allowed 3 short-notice cancellations per 12 months.  After the 3rd cancellation, client will be required to have a credit card on file.  If any subsequent appointments are cancelled with less than a 48-hour notice, a cancellation fee will be charged to the card in the amount of 50% of the session rate.


Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the “full” session.
